Science behind our gender prediction test
Our gender prediction test is a DNA test. Scientists analyse the fetal DNA fragments in the maternal urine sample. These DNA fragments get filtered through the kidneys and expelled with urine. Using a DNA amplification and replication technique known as Polymerase chain reaction, scientists look for Y chromosome specific genetic markers to confirm whether you will have a baby boy or baby girl. If no Y chromosome markers are found in the urine sample, then you are expecting a baby girl.
